Plant description
Large, rounded umbels of violet-blue, trumpet-shaped flowers, top the upright stems of this impressive agapanthus from midsummer. The flowers appear in abundance and are distinguished by a deeper purple stripe that runs down the centre of of each flaring petal, giving them a two-tone effect. It is also one of the hardier (deciduous) types – and the a purplish flush to the base of the lush green foliage is an added bonus.
