Almond Sultane

A lovely heritage variety of self-fertile almond, introduced to the UK in the 18th century. Its early white spring flowers are plentiful and boldly raspberry-centred. ‘Sultane’ requires a warm summer in a sunny, sheltered position, resulting in high-quality sweet almonds with soft shells suitable for making almond milk, oil, butter, flour, or paste.
