Plant description
‘Blenheim Orange’ is both a culinary and dessert apple variety with a very vigorous habit, suitable for northerly, colder, higher rainfall areas. The light crops of apples have a yellow-green skin, becoming yellow and flushed orange-red, and a characteristic nutty flavour. This old English apple variety is self-sterile so will require a pollination partner in group 3 such as ‘Cox’s Orange Pippin’ or Bramley’s Seedling’ to produce fruit.
