Plant description
‘Bigarreau Burlat’ is a highly productive, upright, deciduous fruiting tree with sweet, dark red cherries. It thrives in well-drained, moderately fertile soils and blooms beautiful white flowers in mid-spring, yielding juicy fruits from June onwards. Ideal for informal gardens and specimen trees, it is not self-fertile so requires a pollinating partner such as ‘Merton Glory’ or ‘Lapins’.
Pollination Information: Not self-fertile, this cherry requires another variety of cherry nearby. Ideally this should come from the same pollination group 2, however it is possible to use one from group 1 or 3 as well.
