Plant description
Dainty, pink-tinted white flowers in June and small, dark purple, maple-like leaves. This wonderful ninebark is perfect for a shrub border with moist but well-drained acid soil.
Garden care: Once established, cut back up to one in four of the oldest stems to their base, after flowering. Then, apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant.
