Sanguisorba ‘Proud Mary’

Erect stems bear densely packed, dark red flowerheads with red pink stamens in midsummer. They seem to hover in large numbers above the decorative mounds of attractive, fern-like foliage. ‘Proud Mary’ is great for adding vertical interest and movement to a mixed herbaceous bed, or mixing with ornamental grasses for a naturalised effect.
